The Modify Anti-Reverse Latch for version 6 gearboxes, keeps the piston and gears from spinning backwards when the gears and piston do not complete a full cycle when firing. This causes excess stress on the gearbox and can cause gear meshing problems, and in the worst case, can strip out the gears or piston.
